The one where I might be psychic

For the past week, my brain has been telling me that December 5th was important. I have no idea whether it’s important because of something that already happened, something that’s an ongoing anniversary, or something that’s going to happen. I know it’s not a family birthday, anniversary, or death, and it’s not a major historical date. I just know that I’m supposed to remember or know December 5th. If I’m becoming clairvoyant, I’m clearly terrible at it.
So if anything earth-shatteringly important happens today, you heard it here first.

PS If anyone knows why December 5th is important, help!

It’s not a personal/practical thing (I triple-checked all my calendars to be sure). Fortunately my brain’s let go of the issue for now and has moved on to trying to convince me that there’s something wrong with tomorrow being December 6 instead.
